Product Engineer Position Overview

 This is a full-time, on-site role based in Barberton, OH, for a Product Engineer. The Product Engineer will be responsible for providing technical and engineering support across all Divisions. Responsibilities include designing new products for professional automotive service equipment, working closely with our product teams to improve existing products and expand our product offering.  

Key Responsibilities

• Become knowledgeable of all product specifications and standards and contribute to the company’s growth.
• Provide technical support for the company’s new products and process including product specifications, product development and product sourcing.
• Plan, lead and track projects from initial concept to production launch.
• Create and revise product CAD models and drawings including working with outside technical support resources when needed.
• Perform first article inspections and maintain first article reference samples for new products.
• Perform problem solving for customer, supplier, and internal production problems using fundamental tools and scientific methods.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Support customer service and sales with replies to technical inquiries.
• Support operations in improving production methods, tooling, and capital equipment.
• Assist in defining process and product quality standards.
• Maintain technical documentation and engineering files.
• Coordinate planned product and process improvements.

Education/Experience

• 4-year BS Engineering degree
• 5-10 years of product, project, design, or manufacturing experience

Additional Requirements

• Have background and engineering knowledge and that can be applied to design of fluid handling, fluid transfer, pneumatic, and hydraulics products.
• Knowledge of manufacturing process to produce our products.
• Fundamental problem solving, analytical, and continuous improvement skills and experience.
• Demonstrated project leadership and project management experience.
• Be able to work with and communicate with our customers, suppliers, our strategic partners, and the internal teams to ensure that project objectives and timelines are met.
• Experience and proficiency with SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair equipment and requirements is a plus.

This is a full-time, exempt (salary) role.

Travel

Occasional domestic and international as required.

Reports directly to the Vice President and Manufacturing, and indirectly to the Product Team Lead for projects.

Experienced Warehouse Associate Position Overview

The Experienced Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse, and production assembly. All Warehouse Associates report to the area supervisor and/or the warehouse manager. First shift only.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Fork Lift - Safely operates forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

• Build Inventory – Help manage stock with accuracy and care.
• Light Assembly – Put together parts and products to keep things moving.
• Punch Press Operator – Operate machinery to produce high-quality components.
• Kit & Pack – Fill bags and boxes, and assemble kits to spec.
• Order Prep – Pick and pack products for customer orders.
• Shipping & Receiving – Ensure smooth incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Use Technology – Apply basic computer skills for inventory and order management.
• Safety - Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment. 

Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse experience preferred. Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, or manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Forklift certification is a plus (we can help with training!)
• Comfortable using computers and basic shipping software
• Able to lift and move heavy items up to 80 lbs. as needed
