Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Mechanical Design Technician with strong AutoCAD experience, solid mechanical knowledge, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings, supporting engineering projects, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure accurate and efficient design execution and customer communication

Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, modify, and review 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD.
    • Interpret engineering specifications and translate concepts into detailed technical drawings.
    • Apply mechanical principles including tolerance analysis, materials selection, and mechanical system design.
    • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure customer quotes are done in a timely manner.
    • Review and revise designs based on feedback and project requirements.
    • Maintain organized drawing files and documentation according to company standards.
    • Assist in troubleshooting mechanical design issues during production or installation phases.

Required Qualifications

    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Proven experience using AutoCAD for mechanical drafting and design.
    • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, components, and engineering fundamentals.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with additional CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor).
    • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and fabrication methods.
    • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.

Warehouse Associate Position Overview

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse, and production assembly. Warehouse Associates report to the area supervisor and/or the warehouse manager. First shift only.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Unload Incoming freight containers
  • Verify product receipt to picking sheet
  • Safely and accurately store inventory
  • Production Assembly in gas caddy, EuroVent, and nuts & bolts areas
  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
  • Preform inventory counts to insure accuracy and correct location of product
  • Housekeeping as necessary, including empty trash, sweep, and scrub floors

Physical demands and abilities

  • Required to use hands to feel and arms to reach
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
  • Wear proper safety equipment

Experience

  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Warehouse experience a plus.
